Funky Gloves

I was commissoned to make these gloves for Linn, the owner of the wonderful and whimsical Ear Candy Arts. I wanted to make something in the spirit of her earrings, asymmetrical, funky, and fun. This is what I came up with, and she loved them!

Pi Earrings

Good earrings to have for a nerdy occasion, I made them for Pi Day, particularly to impress a nerdy boy. Needless to say, it worked like a charm.

I made these out of buttons, mod podge, tissue paper, paper, sharpie, earring hooks, and wire. The pi symbol (which could be substituted for a different favorite math symbol) is drawn onto little paper circles with sharpie. I secured the wire in and around the buttons leaving a long piece at the top, and then decoupaged the button with green tissue paper and mod podge. Then everything is just glued together, allowed to dry, and attached to the earring hooks.
